Into Mombasa

The Kenyan coast is an ideal getaway because Mombasa is one of the top travel destinations in East Africa. The city’s tourism activities date back to the 14th century when people like Ibn Battuta and Vasco Da Gama visited the small commercial center that was Mombasa. The city offers a variety of different cultures and entertainment to its visitors. Fort Jesus is the coast’s main attraction. The facility was put up by the Portuguese.

Day 1: Nairobi – Mombasa

Welcome to Wecam Safaris Mombasa Getaway. Arrive the hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing in the room, poolside, and on the beach. The journey to Mombasa offers travelers with one of the most exciting road safaris. Although it can be long and tiring, the safari is made interesting by various scenarios you will come across along the way. From the start to the end there is always something to keep your eyes busy. Along the highway, you get to come across Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. The vast parks are situated in the East and West sides of Nairobi-Mombasa Highway and at times travelers when lucky can get to see the animals strolling in the game parks. Along the way, you will also have several stopovers if time allows preferably at Mtito Andei for some refreshments.
