3-Days Tanzania safari Budget safari Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro safari takes you to some of the best parks in Tanzania, Tarangire National Park – one of Africa’s little-known gems. The park is known for its large elephant herds, which are among the largest in Tanzania. The Ngorongoro crater area will leave you breathless. During the game drive in Ngorongoro Crater you will observe the big 5, not to mention zebras, antelopes, hyenas, monkeys, hippos and giraffes. Lake Manyara National Park is an unspoiled paradise with ground water forests, laced with underground springs and teeming with wildlife.
3-Days Tanzania safari Budget safari Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro departs from Arusha at 8am and drive to Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park.
You will see the Tarangire River with Baobab trees all along the river-banks. This is a well established view point, where game can be viewed ambling to and from the river throughout the day.
Thousands of animals migrate from Maasai steppe to Tarangire River looking for water. You might be able to see three rare species of animals; the Greater Kadu, the Fringe-eared Oryx as well as a few Ashy Starlings.
Picnic lunches will be set on some of the picnic sites in the proximity of wildlife.
From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, descending down into the crater for an afternoon game drive on the crater floor, you will enjoy amazing panoramic view and if you are lucky, you will see the Big five. The caldera exhibits more than 120 species of mammals. We will also visit saline lakes such as Lake Magadi, which is a magnet for flamingos and other water birds. We will also see pools full of hippos, the endangered East African black rhino as well as birds such as the secretary bird, the white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season and kori bustards, crowned cranes and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Another big drawing card to this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which can require the trained eye of your guide to spot.
We will enter Lake Manyara National Park, a photographers paradise for game viewing. Expect to see a park teeming with wildlife including the famous tree climbing lions resting in acacia trees. From your vehicles, you will have a marvelous view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, sparkling in the sun. Picnic lunches will be set on some of the picnic sites in the proximity of wildlife. In the afternoon you will return to Arusha.
