It's the rhinos that form the centrepiece of the conservancy effort here – its (at last count) 111 black rhinos form the largest population in East Africa. However, Ol Pejeta's role in the wider ecosystem extends beyond its boundaries thanks to its partner agreements and wildlife corridors with other Laikipia ranches. Ol Pejeta is also extremely active in local community projects including school infrastructure, health care and the provision of clean water.

DAY 1: NAIROBI - Ol Pejeta
Depart from Nairobi by 6.00.AM for Nanyuki where Ol Pejeta Conservancy is located. Drive past huge plantations of pineapples coffee and tea in the agricultural endowed central highlands. Cross the equator before diverting and finally ending to Ol Pejeta Rongai gate and after the driver guide finishes with payment of park entry fees embark on a day-long game drive. Proceed with game viewing at Ol Pejeta. All big 5 Animals are present at Ol Pejeta. Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffaloes, and Rhino. It worth noting that this conservancy has the largest population of Rhinos in East Africa. You will also find three of the only remaining northern white Rhinos in the world here. Ol Pejeta also is home to sweet waters Chimpanzee sanctuary. The only place in Kenya you find chimps. Chimpanzees are not native to Kenya. This is an orphanage for Chimps rescued from all over the world especially Central Africa and Burundi. You will learn amazing stories about these intelligent creatures. When its time for Lunch the driver guide shall serve you with packed lunch before proceeding with afternoon game drive and return to Nairobi to arrive in the drop off point at around 6.00 PM.
